Busy, Busy, Busy!!

I have been so busy lately that I haven't had chance to get onto the computer much.  Buzz's parents, Ed and Sandy, arrived in early April so we have been going out everyday and doing heaps of different things.  Here is a list of just a few.
- Camping and quad biking at Port Victoria over the Easter long weekend.  We had lots of fun and there was really only one incident with someone crash into Lachlan on his quad bike. Not fun, but everyone was fine and so was the quad bike. I also rode Buzz's quad bike a lot more and now I actually like it. We found a really flat, straight streach of beach in which Buzz got his bike going about 120-130 km/h!!  Lot's of Fun!
- Took the kids into the city on the Bus. We went to the toy shops looking for a birthday present for Haylie.  We also went across to the Musuem and the kids did a craft activity.
- Haylie, my sweet little baby, turned one!  It's hard to believe that she is one already.  How
quickly has the year past by.  She is diffinatly mummies little girl. She loves to give cuddles and she has the cheekiest little smile!  We celebrated her birthday by having a family dinner. she enjoyed playing with her cousins and being the center of attention. She also loved her own personal birthday cake!
- We went to Victor Harbour and had lunch on the rocks at Port Elliot.  Lachlan almost got wet by a big wave, but he moved just it time. We saw some seals, which I have never seen in the wild before.  They were just playing in the waves near the rocks.  We got some yummy icecream for the kids and Buzz and I got the yummy strawberry pancakes, which icecream, fresh cream and strawberries!! We also went over to Granite Island and did the tour of the penguins.  We also saw another seal! It was a really fun and exhausting day. We stopped at MacDonalds on the way out of town and Amie fell asleep in the car while waiting for her food!
- We have gone to the Botantic gardens to feed the ducks.  They were eating it right out of our hands. Lachlan and Amie also had fun trying to do handstands and cartwheels.  Lachlan nearly got there. Sandy wanted me to show them how to do it, but I haven't done that in years.  I surely would have hurt myself.
- On Thursday Caitlyn was in Daycare so we took the older two down to the beach house to play some mini golf and ride the carousel.  We managed to get our game in inbetween rain spells.
- On Friday we braved the rain and headed to the Zoo. We saw the Hippos being fed, Which was cool and it didn't really rain too much.  The kids loved splashing in all the puddles.
Well everyone is back at school and kindy now so things should be a little less busy.  Ed leaves on Wednesday and Sandy will be leaving on Mothers Day.  It has been great to have them here but it will be nice to get back to normal again too!
